YPG’s Child Development Center is a fully accredited program with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC is recognized as the nation's leader in setting standards for quality care, focusing on each child’s physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth. Safety, well being and age appropriate care are our first priority as we carefully plan developmental activities that focus on each child’s individual needs and interests. Our center has an "open door" policy, and we encourage visits and interaction from parents at the center. We offer something for everyone by providing full day, part day and hourly childcare services for children six weeks to kindergarten Monday through Friday. We also provide a popular “Strong Beginnings” program to prepare children to be successful to enter school by equipping them with basic academic and classroom etiquette skills to enhance school readiness. Active duty military families, DoD civilian employees and contractors are eligible to use Child Development Services. We look forward to getting to know you and your child!

FAMILY CHILD CARE
Family Child Care (FCC) is a wonderful atmosphere of quality child care offered in a home environment on YPG. FCC homes are certified, and providers are trained just as the staff at the Child Development Center. FCC Homes are self employed, yet monitored through CYSS as well as by health, preventive medicine, fire and safety. Children enrolled in the FCC program experience a close Family atmosphere that includes a small ratio, similar curriculum to that of the CDC and nutritious meals approved by the food program. Typically, FCC homes can provide hours of operation that are more flexible than those at the CDC. Patrons interested in FCC or in becoming a provider must register with Parent Central Services.
